Hyderabad: A meat shop running under the name ‘Salami industry’ in the Sultanpur area of Balapur was raided on Friday, April 10 and around 1,150 kg of goat heads, feet, offal were seized from the premises.
Speaking to Siasat.com, an official from the Balapur police station said that the meat did not follow recommended storage and packaging standards.
The owner has been issued a notice under section 275 (sale of noxious food or drink) and 318 (4) (cheating).
