AI to untangle Hyderabad’s traffic: CM Reddy prompts tech-savy fix

Hyderabad: Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday, October 21, suggested the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to address traffic issues in Hyderabad.

“Since the traffic menace is increasing in Hyderabad, in order to curb the issue Telangana DGP and Hyderabad Commissioner have been asked to use artificial intelligence for traffic management along with physical policing,” Reddy said.

He further stressed on counselling for those violating traffic rules.

Speaking of the recent incidents of temples and idols being desecrated in Hyderabad, Reddy said, “A few people driven by emotions are attacking temples and idols. People of Telangana need to be vigilant against such incidents.”

Addressing the Muthyalamma temple issue, the chief minister said, “The incident at the Muthyalamma temple has caused concern. Police have promptly arrested those responsible, sending a message that no one will be spared.”

He further said that a few people are taking law into their hands “If you take the law into your hands there is no difference between you and the miscreants. The police are equipped to deal with and punish offenders,” he concluded.
