Hyderabad: In response to heightened security concerns following ‘Operation Sindoor’, chief minister A Revanth Reddy has issued strict directives to senior officials to bolster safety measures across Hyderabad.
The chief minister emphasised the need for robust security at all foreign diplomatic missions and IT companies, and called for special surveillance of known criminals, with continuous monitoring of their movements.
He stressed that all departments must remain fully prepared to handle any situation, underlining the critical importance of police vigilance in the city.
At an emergency review meeting held at the Integrated Command and Control Centre on Wednesday morning, May 7, chief minister Revanth Reddy instructed that “we must send a clear message that we stand with the nation’s armed forces. There is no room for politics or partisanship at this time. Ministers, officials, and employees must remain available, and all foreign tours should be cancelled. Leaves for employees in essential services are to be revoked, and strict action will be taken against government employees making unnecessary statements in the media or on social platforms.”
