Hyderabad: 36-year-old drug peddler from Goa held in city

Hyderabad: Jamia Osmania police in coordination with the Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) on Wednesday arrested a drug peddler from Goa.

The accused was identified as 36-year-old Priteesh Narayan Borkar. Drugs including 20 ecstasy pills, five LSD blots, and four grams of MDMA, worth Rs 1 lakh were seized from Borkar who allegedly came to Hyderabad for a drug deal.

Borkar has approximately 600 customers in Hyderabad, so far the police have identified 166 customers. The accused was arrested in Kakatiya Nagar, Habsiguda. He built connections with Goans who supplied drugs. Gradually, “Borkar established contacts in Hyderabad and sold drugs procured from Goa at higher rates” a police official was quoted as saying by the New Indian Express.
