Hyderabad: Ahead of the proposed ‘Million March’ protest against blasphemous comments of Nupur Sharma against Prophet Mohammed on June 18, the Hyderabad police have booked Mohammed Mushtaq Mallik for allegedly promoting enmity between two communities.
Taking suo-moto action against the appeal of Mushtaq Malik, President of Tahreek Muslim Shabban (TMS) on social media , the Chaderghat police have registered case under IPC sections 153(A) (Promoting enmity between two communities), 295(A) (intended to outrage religious feelings), 505(2) (hatred or ill-will between classes).
A cop working with the Chaderghat police station filed a complaint that Mushtaq Malik on his facebook page has been appealing the members of the Muslim community to join a million march at Indira park, in respect of Prophet Muhammad. In the message he informed that Telangana Joint Action Committee is organizing a protest after Zohar prayer at Dharna Chowk.
He is motivating the Muslim people using his social media page. He is provoking people in the name of religion and asking to come in large numbers by his speech which in all likelihood will promote enmity between various groups and communities. He has published his speeches on social media networks provoking certain groups on religious grounds. Crores of Muslims who are living in India were hurt by the comments of Nupur Sharma, BJP spokes-person.
President of TMS informed that booking cases against the respondents will not satisfy the Muslim community and demanded about their arrest, and he also commented that persons who dishonours Prophet have no right to live.

The police alleged that Mushtaq Malik wants to gain sympathy in his community and now and then provoking a lot of youngsters towards attack on BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal.
Previously also he had taken out a Million March in connection with the CAA-NRC and violated the all conditions issued by the High Court and conducted the Million March with lakhs of people, which created inconvenience to the common public.
