Hyderabad: Sensation prevailed at SR Nagar area on Tuesday night after a woman jumped to death from ESI metro station. The incident was captured on the mobile phones by the local public.
The woman is identfied as Shabana a resident of Sri Ram Nagar colony on Tuesday night climbed a top of the ESI metro station and despite local public requesting her not to resort to extreme step she jumped off. The live scene of woman jumping off from the metro station was recorded by the locals and within few minutes he video went viral on social media.
During the incident she sustained grevious injuries and was immediatley shifted to Gandhi hospital where the doctors declared her broiught dead.
The preliminary police investiagtion revealed that the woman was allegedly in love a person and she was dejected over the failure in the love affair.
The SR Nagar police have registered a case and investigation is underway.
