Hyderabad: A 22-year-old woman ‘flung’ her 3-year-old nephew from the third floor of their house at Bhavani Nagar near Charminar on Tuesday afternoon.
The accused, Ayesha was reportedly not having a child and her husband Shujauddin’s undue love towards his elder brother’s son, Mohammed Nomanuddin, was hurting her. In a fit of rage, she allegedly threw the kid from the building.
The child died instantaneously after he suffered grievous injuries on the head. The incident has shocked the local residents and a team of Bhavani Nagar police reached the spot and investigation is underway.
“We have registered a murder case against the lady and after the arrest, she has been produced before the court,” said Inspector Bhavani Nagar N Venkateshwarlu.
