With ankle-length water on the floor, students were seen dining in a pool of water. The research scholars circulated videos of the dining facility at Osmania University inundated with water.

In a video that surfaced online, two students are seen pouring water from the floor into a bowl, demonstrating the extent of the issue. According to the students, water seepage has affected the dining hall and store room, the most significant area where food is stored and served daily at Osmania University.
The presence of the water poses health risks, including mould growth and sanitation issues.
The research scholars faced a similar situation last year when they protested by having food while sitting on the inundated floor.
The video has prompted immediate action to address the infrastructure issue in the university, as scholars are worried about their health and living conditions.
