Hyderabad: A scrap trader was stabbed to death in the Falaknuma area of the Old City on Wednesday evening.
Mohd Sajid, a resident of Fatimanagar under the Falaknuma police station limits, had an altercation with some individuals near his house, which escalated into a scuffle. Some people, known to the deceased and residing in the neighborhood, stabbed him to death.
Local residents rushed Sajid to a private hospital, and he was later shifted to OGH, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. Senior police officials also visited the location. The police have formed teams to identify those responsible for Sajid’s murder.
Sajid is survived by his wife and three children.
