Hyderabad: The chairman of Telangana Congress’ minority department Abdullah Sohail Shaik on Saturday, resigned from the party after thirty-four years of association.
In an 8-page resignation letter addressed to AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge, MP Rahul Gandhi, the party’s national minority wing chief and MP Imran Pratapgarhi, and the party’s Telangana in charge Manikrao Thakare, he called the decision a ‘painful goodbye’ and blamed TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy’s leadership primarily for his reason to resign from the grand old party.
