Hyderabad: Musharraf Ali Faruqui, Chairman and Managing Director of the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL), has urged consumers to report any instances of staff or officers demanding bribes. He highlighted the company’s commitment to providing transparent and high-quality services, free from corruption.
Consumers can file complaints by calling the helpline numbers 040-23454884 or 7680901912, with the option to submit grievances via WhatsApp as well. Faruqui mentioned that special arrangements have been made at his office to swiftly handle complaints related to corruption.
Acknowledging that some employees have engaged in corrupt practices, tarnishing the company’s image, Faruqui assured that all complaints will be addressed promptly and that irregularities will be monitored closely.
He encouraged the public to make use of the company’s services through its website and mobile app, including applying for new service connections, requesting category changes, title transfers, and billing corrections.
The CMD also highlighted that negligence or actions causing inconvenience to consumers would not be tolerated, reaffirming TGSPDCL’s commitment to maintaining a high standard of service.
In preparation for the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, which will begin today and last for 11 days, Faruqui held a review meeting to discuss plans for continuous power supply and safety measures for the Ganesh pandals across the city.
