Treasure unearthed in Jangaon, Govt.confiscates

Hyderabad: A vessel containing gold coins was dug out from a piece of land belonging to one farmer Narasimha at Pembarthi of Janagaon district. The farmer broke the vessel out and found that it was full of gold coins.

He immediately informed police and officials about the same. The residents of nearby villages flocked to the village to observe the gold coins after news spread like wildfire.

The police and other officials seized the gold coins and other ornaments. It is said that the vessel had 18 tolas of gold ornaments and over 2 kgs of silver ornaments.
