Hyderabad: A fire broke out in the coaches of a train parked at Alugadda Bavi tracks near Secunderabad railway station on June 20. A massive accident was averted because no passenger was present in the coach.
Fire engine personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control as heavy fire and smoke spread in two AC bogies.
The spare coaches were parked on the tracks when smoke started coming out from the bogies. The fire started in one coach and began spreading to another.
On noticing it the fire personnel of the Secunderabad fire station and railway authorities reached the spot and doused the flames. The cause of the fire is being ascertained.
