‘Super Dancer belongs only to Shilpa Shetty’

Mumbai: Sony TV’s popular dance reality show Super Dancer, which has been going on for months now, has Geeta Kapur, Shilpa Shetty and Anurag Basu as the judges from the past 4 seasons. However, Shilpa has been missing from the show due to the ongoing controversy of Raj Kundra’s arrest in the pornography case.

Her absence from the shoot left fans speculating that she may no longer judge the popular show anymore. Geeta and Anurag along with special guests are continuing to judge the show.

Makers have been trying fill in her absence by bringing in special guests like Karisma Kapoor, Ritesh and Genelia Deshmukh, actress Moushumi Chatterjee and Sonali Bendre in various episodes.

Ranveena Tandon rejects Super Dancer 4 offer

And now as per a report in Times Of India, the makers have approached actress Raveena Tandon.

However, Ranveena has rejected the offer. She declined the show offer saying that it will always belong to Shilpa and she would like that to be that way.

A source told news portal, “Shilpa Shetty is very much a part of the show and we are hoping that will be back soon. Till then, Geeta Kapoor and Anurag Basu along with special guests will continue to judge the show.”

Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra controversy

Raj Kundra, his associate and two more people are arrested for the illegal production and distribution of pornographic material. After the arrest, his actress-wife Shilpa Shetty Kundra also came under scanner by Mumbai police after she reportedly resigned from the director’s position at Viaan industries.

For the unversed, the operations of porn production and distribution were allegedly being handled by Viaan Industries. The cops are investigating if the actress benefitted from the profit which was made by the company.
